We’ve been serving the Burlington community since 1985, with no sign of stopping. Now, we’re looking for our next Server.   As an experienced server, you know how fun and exciting it is to work in a busy restaurant.  You’re looking for a long-term opportunity, and a chance to make life-long friends, while making great money.  Look no more.   Server :   As our newest Server, you will :

• Take customers’ food and drink orders
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
• Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials
• Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
• Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
• Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties You have a passion for mouth-watering food and beverage. You’ll have no problem learning our menu, and you’ll love giving guests appetizing recommendations. Our guests will appreciate your sense of urgency and attentiveness.       Working at Jake’s Grill and Oyster House :   Almost half of our staff have worked with us for more than 5 years, and some have been with us for over 20!   If you asked them why they love working here, they’d tell you that it all comes down to the people. Our management team is well organized, our team is friendly, and our regular clientele keep us busy.   The Jake’s experience is defined by friendly faces, gracious service, a casual nautical atmosphere, the freshest ingredients, and a serious passion for hospitality.    We truly enjoy working here, and so will you.   The Details :   We're seeking a dedicated and committed individual to join our team as a full-time Server on days, evenings and weekends. We are not just looking for a short-term solution, but rather someone who is eager to use their skills and grow with our team over the long term.   Your schedule will require you to have flexible availability, and be able to work days, evenings and weekends. We’re not open late – on weekdays, we’re open until 10, Friday and Saturday until 11, and Sunday until 9. Our lunch and dinner shifts are busy, so you’ll never be bored.   You’ll be paid hourly (minimum wage plus tips).   Qualifications :
• Experience in a restaurant as a server or bartender
• Smart Serve Certified
