We are currently seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals located at our head office in Kitchener, ON.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to deploy & configuresoftware to customer test and production environments
  • Configure and setup server hardware and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, Bluetooth Devices)
  • Modify product code to meet the customer's unique needs
  • Demonstrate complete integrated system with key external stakeholders during Functional Acceptance Testing & On-site System Testing
  • Not just an office job, travel to site to see your work in action (depending on project, up-to 25%).
  • Root Cause Analysis of defects identified in production.
  • Limited on call rotating support escalation (10%)
  • Maintain, develop, and improve our automated test and deployment tools
  • Other duties as assigned by Project Manager
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
  • 1-3 years experience (co-op considered)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency withSQL & knowledge of databases
  • Experience with an object-oriented programming language is required. C# is preferred but Java, C++, or other languages are also acceptable.
  • Knowledge of Flyway, Powershell, Azure Devops, Python, Ignition is an asset
  • The ability to travel & perform night/weekend work
