Electrical Controls Technician

Location : 944 Highway 8, Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada.

Schedule : Monday to Friday shifts + occasional weekends (40 hours per week), with availability to shift work schedule based on facility needs.

Salary : $49.97 CAD / hour.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and service programs for packaging and process equipment controlling electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Communicate and update firmware, software, and associated links with plant equipment.
• Write to various vendor programs to implement changes requested by production.
• Create programs / applications with PLC / HMI for new or replacement installations.
• Understand packaging and process requirements and effects of change.
• Participate in ongoing training on new equipment and maintenance practices.
• Update or create schematics for existing equipment.
