Job Title : Nights Packer
Shift : 10 : 45pm to 7am
Shift time : Sunday to Thursday (10 : 45 PM- 7 : 00 AM)
Pay : $22.86 per hour
Location : Georgetown, Ontario
Packing, food environment-
Must be comfortable performing physical tasks such as walking, crouching and climbing stairs consistently.
- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Good vision, depth perception and attention to detail.
- Ability to read, and communicate effectively. Must be able to interpret work instructions, formulate plans, and express ideas and concerns effectively to others.
- Able to log all incidents and actions taken in a clear and concise method.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide 4-digit numbers.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of weight (pounds, kilograms), percentages, or fractions.
- Ability to apply common-sense and understanding when carrying out multiple-step instructions.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with high noise levels and hot / cold temperatures.

Responsibilities
Follow all Food Safety (HACCP), GMP’s, WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental programs.
Communicate with packers from the previous shift to determine if there are any problems on the packing portion of the line.
Operate packaging equipment to fill, label, stack, and stretch wrap product containers.
Monitor packaging equipment performance; make adjustments to equipment as necessary.
Record and review production data as required on log sheets.
Contact Operator or Team Leader in the event of any problems with the lines, product quality, or critical control points.
Perform product and packaging change-overs as scheduled.
Restock boxes, skids, and liners for next shift and current shift as needed.
Clean work areas and equipment as assigned or scheduled.
Maintain all production areas in a neat and clean condition.
Properly account for any product rework.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor / Operator.
