Job descriptionEnsure compliance to all company polices and standards with regards to health, safety, environment Ensure compliance to all company quality standards, hold procedures, housekeeping, GMP, KPI reporting, correction action processes and continuous improvement Optimizing capacity, flexibility and productivity Manage, monitor and communicate production performance results Work closely with Brewing and Logistics to ensure maximum efficiency of production across entire supply chain Work closely with peers to set agreed to standards and consistency across all shifts. Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures of line equipment and processes. Audit all production worksheets, check sheets, changeovers for standard practices and coach non-conforming work. Delivers on Commitments sets clear, aggressive goals, achieves them through urgency, persistence and determination and takes accountability for results. Driven to Make Informed Decisions : continually seeks knowledge and applies it through a disciplined, fact-based approach to decision making Energetic Leadership : possesses a “can do” attitude that positively influences and energizes those around them. Uses strong communication skills to share information and provide a clear point of view Understands and Executes against Strategies : understands the company’s strategies, ensures individual actions are aligned and executes with excellence Minimum 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Undergraduate degree in sciences preferred. Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility. Must have good communication skills in English – written and verbal. Must have strong interpersonal, leadership qualities, and team building skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of manufacturing regulations regarding safety, quality, HACCP, GMP’s, and SOP’s. Must have strong computer skills and mechanical aptitude. Overview
Central City Brewers and Distillers is a craft brewery in the business of developing and selling international award-winning premium craft beer and high-quality distilled spirits brewed without compromise. Based in Surrey, British Columbia, CCBD was voted Canada Best Brewery of the Year in 2010 and 2012. Its Red Racer brand has become a cult icon among craft beer enthusiasts throughout North America. Founded in 2003 as a brewpub and liquor store in downtown Surrey, CCBD celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2013 with the grand opening of a brand new, 68,000 sq. ft. brewery and distillery on Bridgeview Drive. In 2019 we opened a 40,000 sq. ft. storage facility with approximately 2000 barrels of whiskey ageing in this facility. We are proud of being a local-Canadian Brewery that is currently expanding. In 2021 the company completed installation of a new canning line designated for contract manufacturing.
Job Summary
The Packaging Supervisor has the responsibility for leading, managing, and coaching their production staff with the goal to achieve quality product produced with highest production efficiency attainable while maintaining a safe working environment for their team. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.
