Job description

Are you a highly motivated and experienced Machine Operator with a passion for quality and an adventurous spirit? We are looking for a dedicated Packaging & Production Machine Operator to join a dynamic and growing team in Surrey, BC, where you'll be part of a proud Canadian company that crafts delicious, natural snacks!

Position: Production Machine Operator
Location: South Surrey, BC
Shifts Available: 4:00 am to 2:00 pm (Monday-Thursday) OR 4am to 4pm (Friday-Sunday)

Responsibilities
• Set up and perform pre-operative checks on machinery before production begins.
• Operate production and packaging machinery, effectively resolving issues and maintaining equipment cleanliness.
• Maximize operational uptime on seasoning and packaging equipment on designated line(s).
• Complete accurate documentation and record-keeping for materials consumed and products produced.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs).
• Communicate effectively with maintenance, shipping, and receiving departments.
• Ensure product changeovers are completed in a timely manner.
• Replenish seasoning into flavouring machines.
• Lead and mentor a team of up to two people on the production line.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Production Supervisors or Lead Hand.




Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of production experience.
• Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
• Understanding of HACCP principles and practices.
• Must be available to work the afternoon shift on a full-time basis (2:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday-Thursday).
• Steel-toed safety shoes are mandatory; all other Personal Protective Equipment will be provided.
• First Aid, Forklift, and/or Food Safety certifications are considered a significant asset.
