Job description
Are you a Senior or Principal Geotechnical Engineer looking for a new, remote or office-based opportunity anywhere in Canada?
Does your consultancy experience include tailings, dams, mining wastewater, and Engineer-of-Record (EOR) services across Canada and internationally?
My client, an ethical, employee-owned consultancy that is developing and thriving, is seeking talented Senior and Principal Geotechnical Engineers to join their team!

The ideal candidates will have opportunities to perform technical lead, Deputy EOR, or EOR duties, and support geotechnical investigations, design work, as well as systematic monitoring and surveillance activities.
Additional professional experiences and project support may include :
- Earthen dam design, geotechnical site assessments, and associated field services
- Dam breach evaluations, stability and deformation analyses
- Instrumentation installation design and data review
- Annual dam safety inspections
- Participation in audits and risk assessments, among other duties
Supported by multiple design teams such as civil and hydrogeological, this role offers a great opportunity to develop and maintain existing relationships as well as gain new ones.
The role can be office-based in any major city in Canada or fully remote within Canada—your choice.
A consultancy background is ideal for this position, and tailings experience is a must.
