About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to lead all supplier quality activities, focusing on Supplier Quality Management and Product Quality Support. You’ll be responsible for supplier development, qualification, and management— including on‑site audits, product inspection, control plan development, and production process evaluation and improvement. This role involves working with both new and existing suppliers to ensure quality excellence across our supply chain.
What You’ll Do

- Support all elements of the supplier quality management system including first‑piece approvals, periodic production part inspections, product and process validations, control plan development and adherence, non‑conforming material containment, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
- Help suppliers understand and implement Victaulic product specifications, providing guidance and technical support as needed.
- Lead supplier corrective actions related to internal or external failures reported through SCAR and PCAR systems. For issues affecting product availability, you’ll lead team meetings to ensure clear communication of actions and status updates.

Development initiatives may include improved inspection processes, leveraging technology, mistake‑proofing, capacity improvements, and quality management enhancements.
- Perform trend analysis and establish ongoing supplier quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain regular communication with internal customers to ensure quality objectives are clearly identified and acted upon.
