Our client is an established mining consultancy that provides independent advice to mining companies, providers of capital, law firms and government agencies. Staffed by highly experienced mining professionals with extensive international experience in geology, mining engineering, metallurgy, processing, social and environmental management they are now looking to add a mining engineer to their team.

You must be a graduate in mining engineering, P. Eng. and your experience will include at least 3 years in hard rock open pit mining operations. Well practiced in mine planning and the application of relevant soft ware you will carry out due diligence and evaluations by reviewing studies, conducting site visits and understanding expectations in order to qualify and validate open pit mining projects.

Your knowledge, experience and appreciation for efficient mine engineering and production will be instrumental in your ability to complete reports on which client decisions will be based. Also, important will be fostering good working relationships with clients and your potential for securing business opportunities.

This is an excellent professional opportunity for a solid technical mining engineer who wants to advance his/her experience and knowledge base by working on a variety of projects. It would suit a Toronto or Vancouver based candidate who is amenable to some modest travel and who wants to further their career with a highly respected engineering company. Compensation is generous and is complimented by a creative incentive program.
