About Our Client
Our client is sourcing a Junior Accountant (Growth Track) to join their team.

About the Opportunity

• Entry-level accounting role with a defined growth path to Senior Accountant within 12–24 months, supporting multiple entities.
• Execute accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accurate recording of transactions with proper coding and approvals.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and support intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare routine journal entries including accruals, prepaids, and amortization.
• Assist with month-end close, maintaining integrity of the general ledger and supporting schedules.
• Support monthly internal financial reporting, variance analysis, and budget tracking.
• Prepare and organize working papers, audit support materials, and reconciliation documentation.
• Assist with GST/HST filings and payroll remittance schedules, ensuring policy compliance.
• Leverage accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
• Participate in automation, process improvement, and scalable accounting processes through system and workflow enhancements.
• Participate in the growth plan with 6-month, 12-month, and 24-month benchmarks.

About You

• 0-2 years of experience in accounting
• Degree in accounting or finance with strong understanding of basic accounting concepts, including debits, credits and accounting principles
• Attention to detail, clear communication, integrity, and ability to learn and understand the industry
• Currently enrolled in or open to pursuing CPA designation is considered an asset
