The Opportunity

As a Junior Recruiter, you’ll play an important role in helping us identify and connect great people with great opportunities.

You’ll learn the full recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing and engaging candidates to interviewing, coordinating processes, and supporting successful placements.

You don't need to be an expert recruiter coming in. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, energy, curiosity, and drive to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Source and identify qualified candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, databases, referrals, and other channels.
• Build and maintain a strong network of technical professionals.
• Reach out to prospective candidates and introduce them to relevant career opportunities.
• Conduct initial candidate screens and assess skills, experience, and career goals.
• Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand client requirements.
• Manage candidate pipelines and keep recruitment activity organized and up to date.
• Coordinate interviews and help candidates navigate the recruitment process.
• Maintain strong communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the process.
• Research companies, technologies, industries, and talent markets to support recruiting efforts.
• Contribute to TalentLab's sourcing strategies, recruiting campaigns, and team initiatives.
• Learn and develop your understanding of technical roles across areas such as software, hardware, engineering, AI/ML, and embedded systems.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, sales, customer service, business development, or another people-focused environment is an asset.
• A strong interest in building a career in recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
• Confident and comfortable picking up the phone and speaking with new people.
• Naturally curious and willing to ask questions.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Persistent and motivated — you don't give up after the first unanswered message.
• A team player who enjoys sharing ideas and celebrating wins.
• Comfortable learning new technology, tools, and recruiting platforms.
• Most importantly, a great attitude and a desire to learn.
