The Director of Infrastructure and Operations is a newly created senior leadership position within the Information Technology department. The Director is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the university's IT infrastructure to ensure its reliability, security, and performance. The Director will lead a team of IT professionals, manage infrastructure projects, and collaborate with various university departments to support their technology needs.
As the ideal candidate, you have progressive IT leadership experience in higher education or similar complex, multi-stakeholder organizations and have effectively aligned IT infrastructure strategies with organizational goals and industry standards. You have successfully led significant infrastructure projects, and have demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, disaster recovery planning, and telecommunications management. Your ability to engage with stakeholders while relaying technical concepts in a tangible manner, will be highly beneficial. Proficient in managing IT budgets and resources, you may also hold desirable certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL.
