Do you thrive in an environment where your curiosity is rewarded and your insights directly shape the future of an organization?
Our client is an established, purpose-driven organization in Surrey looking for a Full-Cycle Accountant who balances technical mastery with a "big picture" mindset.
If you have 4+ years of full cycle accounting experience and are looking for a stable, collaborative home where your work has a visible impact, we want to meet you.
The Opportunity You won’t just be "doing the books." You will be a vital partner to the CEO, providing the financial intelligence that fuels their mission.
This role offers the perfect blend of core financial management and high-level strategic analysis.
You’ll join a team that values transparency, asks the hard questions, and works together to solve problems before they arise.
Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Strategy: Prepare monthly financial packages for the leadership team; lead forecasting efforts to guide growth.
Full-Cycle Mastery: Manage the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, sales entries, and daily cash receipts.
Payroll & Compliance: Process payroll, produce detailed reports, and ensure all CRA payments and GST filings are precise and timely.
Audit Readiness: Take the lead in prepping for year-end audits, ensuring a seamless and transparent process.
Business Intelligence: Analyze budgets and provide actionable financial insights to support strategic decisions.
Who You Are While your technical skills and work experience get you in the door, your soft skills are what will make you successful here.
We are looking for someone who is: Analytical: You have a "big picture" lens, connecting daily transactions to the organization’s long-term goals.
Proactive & Inquisitive: You don't just process data; you seek to understand the underlying drivers of financial trends and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo to improve efficiency.
A Master Communicator: You can translate complex financial data into clear, concise narratives for non-financial stakeholders.
Qualifications Experience: 4+ years of current, hands-on Full-Cycle Accounting experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA Track: Current enrollment in the CPA program is considered a strong asset.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, ADP etc.) and Excel.
Reliability: Comfortable working 100% on-site in the Surrey office.
Why Apply?
This organization offers a stable, growing and collaborative environment where your voice is heard.
You will report directly to the CEO, giving you a front-row seat to the leadership and strategy of a mission-based organization.
