Develop and execute category strategies for the Assets / Equipment category
Manage supplier relationships and lead supplier negotiations
Conduct strategic sourcing initiatives and RFP processes
Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with vendors
Analyze spend data and develop category insights
Monitor market conditions and supplier cost drivers
Challenge supplier price increases using market intelligence and data analysis
Ensure supply continuity and manage supplier performance
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and procurement needs
Educate internal teams on procurement processes, risk mitigation, and sourcing strategies
Identify cost savings opportunities and deliver measurable value to the business
Participate in supplier reviews and supplier site visits when required
What you must have:
Approximately 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management
Experience managing capital equipment, facilities, or technical equipment categories
Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies
Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience
Experience conducting market research and supplier analysis
Ability to analyze spend and cost drivers within a category
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Salary/Rate Range: $93,000.00 - $148,000.00
