Structural Engineering and Quality Manager
Title: Structural Engineering and Quality Manager
Status: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Lethbridge, Alberta (On-site)

Our client is a fully integrated manufacturing company with strong brand recognition, having over 40 patents and trademarks to its name. For over 90 years this company has focused on being a market leader through innovation, quality and honest relationships. The company has recently made significant investments to maintain its leadership position and to support sales growth in key markets.
Responsibilities:
The Engineering and Quality Manager will lead a team of Project Managers, Designers and Quality inspectors as they develop the designs and monitor the production of Extreme Modular Buildings.
Specific duties of the Engineering and Quality Manager include, but are not limited to:
• Supervise the design team, setting direction, priorities, and schedules
• Supervise the Project Manager(s), supporting their work to manage all aspects of each project
• Manage the project costs, ensuring projects stay on budget
• Ensure that all products meet EMB quality standards
• Encourage and support continuous improvement of the design and production process
• Document activities and results with variance reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
• Must have a designation that is recognized in Alberta
• Experience working in a manufacturing or construction environment
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience in project or business management (5 years minimum)
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
• Computer skills, including:
• Microsoft Office suite, including Teams
o ERP Software (Enterprise Resource Planning Software)
• Valid driver’s license and passport.
