We are seeking Independent Electrical Contractors for ongoing residential electrical projects throughout Ottawa and Gatineau.
What We Offer Consistent work opportunities Bi-weekly payments No need to market your services or hunt for jobs Ongoing residential renovation, restoration, and maintenance projects Responsibilities Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades Install and service lighting, switches, receptacles, panels, and wiring Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment Report project progress, deficiencies, or site concerns Requirements Must operate as an Independent Contractor (not an employee) Valid Business Registration Valid GST/HST Number (Ontario) or GST/QST Registration (Quebec) Current Commercial General Liability Insurance Reliable transportation Own tools and equipment required to perform electrical work Valid electrical trade qualifications and licences required by your jurisdiction Experience in residential electrical work preferred Quebec Contractors Must Also Provide: Valid NEQ (Numéro d'entreprise du Québec) Current CNESST registration and proof of compliance, where applicable Proof of CNESST coverage or exemption, as applicable Certificate of Insurance confirming coverage in Quebec Ontario Contractors Must Also Provide: Current WSIB Clearance Certificate, where applicable Compensation Competitive contract rates Bi-weekly payment schedule Ongoing work available for qualified Independent Contractors This opportunity is for Independent Contractors only and is not an employment position.

Ce Que Nous Offrons Mandats réguliers et continus Paiement aux deux semaines Aucun besoin de faire de la prospection ou de trouver des contrats Projets résidentiels de rénovation, de remise en état et d'entretien Responsabilités Effectuer des installations, réparations et mises à niveau électriques résidentielles Installer et entretenir l'éclairage, les interrupteurs, les prises, les panneaux et le câblage Diagnostiquer et résoudre les problèmes électriques Effectuer les travaux conformément aux normes de sécurité et aux codes électriques applicables Maintenir un environnement de travail sécuritaire et professionnel Signaler toute déficience ou préoccupation liée au chantier Exigences Doit exercer ses activités à titre d' entrepreneur indépendant (et non d'employé) Enregistrement d'entreprise valide Numéro de TPS/TVH (Ontario) ou TPS/TVQ (Québec) valide Assurance responsabilité civile commerciale en vigueur Véhicule fiable Outils et équipements nécessaires à l'exécution des travaux Qualifications et licences d'électricien valides selon la juridiction applicable Expérience en électricité résidentielle, un atout Les entrepreneurs du Québec doivent également fournir : Un NEQ valide Une preuve d'inscription et de conformité à la CNESST, lorsque requis Une preuve de couverture ou d'exemption de la CNESST, selon le cas Un certificat d'assurance confirmant la couverture au Québec Les entrepreneurs de l'Ontario doivent également fournir : Une attestation de conformité de la WSIB, lorsque requise Rémunération Taux compétitifs selon le contrat Paiement aux deux semaines Travail continu offert aux entrepreneurs indépendants qualifiés Ce poste est exclusivement destiné aux entrepreneurs indépendants et ne constitue pas un emploi salarié.
