Job description
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly sophisticated and experienced Manager / Senior Manager, Trust Administration. In this pivotal role, you will support the comprehensive oversight of complex trust and estate structures, ensuring all arrangements are meticulously administered in accordance with fiduciary obligations, legal requirements, and long-term wealth preservation objectives.
Acting as a key advisor to senior leadership, you will guide critical decision-making on trust-related matters and seamlessly coordinate efforts across internal stakeholders and external advisors. The ideal candidate brings strong technical capability, exceptional discretion, and a proven ability to translate intricate trust and tax considerations into practical, flawless execution within an entrepreneurial, high-performing environment.

Advantages
Dedicated to building an inclusive culture that cares for, nurtures, and values every individual. Joining their team offers:
•Strategic Visibility: Enjoy a direct line of sight into the high-level workings of all major corporate investment decisions.
•Entrepreneurial Culture: Work in a creative, dynamic environment where your ideas and advice are genuinely heard, valued, and encouraged.
•Professional Development: Continuous learning opportunities with full reimbursement for professional development and training courses.
•Wellness & Perks: Access to excellent lifestyle amenities, including a free on-site gym membership.
•Future Security: Corporate RRSP matching program to support your long-term financial goals.
•Empowering Environment: Collaborate with a diverse, high-performing team that will challenge and empower you to reach your highest potential.

Responsibilities
•Trust Oversight & Governance: Support the end-to-end administration of trust structures to guarantee compliance with legal, regulatory, and fiduciary duties. Interpret trust documentation, establish robust governance frameworks, maintain reporting cadences, and proactively monitor and escalate key risks.
•Strategic Advisory: Advise senior leadership on complex trust structuring, distribution policies, and strategic planning. Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of trust and tax legislation, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to inform proactive planning decisions.
•Stakeholder & Advisor Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between internal legal, tax, and risk stakeholders, as well as external fiduciary advisors. Manage advisor mandates, scope, and performance to ensure total alignment with organizational priorities.
•Tax & Structuring Oversight: Collaborate with external advisors to maximize the tax efficiency and compliance of trust structures, while systematically monitoring all required regulatory filings and disclosures.
•Financial & Investment Alignment: Partner with internal teams to ensure strict alignment between trust structures and active investment strategies, maintaining full visibility into trust-level financial activity and exposures.
•Operational Leadership: Manage the administration of trust records, ensure data and reporting accuracy, and continuously strengthen internal control processes for optimal audit readiness.

Qualifications
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or a related field is required (a graduate degree is highly preferred).
•Professional Designations: Holding industry-recognized credentials such as CTFA, TEP, MTI, or an equivalent designation is considered a strong asset.
•Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in trust administration, estate planning, private banking, fiduciary services, or wealth management.
•Technical Knowledge: Deep, nuanced understanding of complex or multi-entity trust structures, governance frameworks, and fiduciary responsibilities.
•Core Skills: Exceptional communication, relationship management, and analytical skills. Proven ability to coordinate effectively with external legal and financial advisors.
•Attributes: A high level of professionalism, impeccable judgment, absolute integrity, and unwavering discretion when handling sensitive wealth structures.

Summary
This is an extraordinary opportunity for a trust professional looking to elevate their career within an innovative financial ecosystem. If you possess the technical acumen to navigate complex fiduciary environments and the interpersonal skills to advise executive leadership, we want to hear from you.
