JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support a leading automation client. In this role, you will work closely with both the customer and internal technical leadership to manage day‑to‑day project activities, coordinate schedules, and drive successful execution of complex engineering programs. You’ll begin each day aligning with the customer and the internal lead, identifying priorities, flagging critical items, and ensuring the project team is clear on deliverables.
You will oversee scheduling, program governance, and weekly program management reviews, ensuring all milestones, risks, and action items are tracked and communicated. This role requires developing a deep understanding of the client’s tooling, internal processes, and proprietary database, becoming the go‑to point of coordination across engineering, scheduling, and customer stakeholders.
With responsibility across the full design‑build cycle, you’ll manage scope, resolve resource conflicts, and maintain alignment with business and technical objectives while supporting project execution in a highly regulated and safety‑driven environment. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented, technically capable project manager who thrives in fast‑moving, customer‑facing programs.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Start each day with a customer touchpoint and internal alignment meeting.
- Flag critical issues, risks, and blockers to the customer and internal team.
- Manage and optimize project scheduling across engineering and operations.
- Develop a strong understanding of project tools, equipment, and technical workflows.
- Lead and facilitate weekly Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
- Learn and navigate the client’s internal database and document management systems.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and action items across the design‑build lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross‑functional technical teams to maintain scope, timelines, and quality.
- Support change management, scope adjustments, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain strong communication with customer stakeholders and internal leadership.
