What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience in financial services or consumer data industries, particularly credit data solutions, is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with SQL queries and Linux command line tools; experience with PowerBI, Apache Superset, Tableau, Ab Initio, Python, or R is a plus.
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
- Previous backend application development experience and knowledge of database building / querying is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native data processing tools like Redshift, EMR, and Snowflake is a plus.
- Relevant experience in big data, data management, and data performance.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Scenario analysis, tactical evaluation, and problem-solving skills applicable to business contexts.
- Proven leadership and project management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating analytical and statistical concepts to senior leadership.
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives to completion.
Impact You'll Make
The Data Performance team, part of TransUnion’s Data Strategy Business Unit, focuses on improving database quality and providing insights through data quality dashboards. Responsibilities include monitoring data, analyzing environment changes, investigating data anomalies, identifying trends, and developing data quality measures and prototypes for new markets and products. The team also provides data analysis, processing solutions, and consulting services across the organization.
This is a hybrid role involving remote work and in-person presence at an assigned TU office location at least two days a week. Accommodation is available, including for applicants with disabilities, in accordance with applicable laws.
