The incumbent is responsible for interpreting and analyzing legally binding collective agreements into operational, functional and technical requirements so that workforce, HR and payroll systems can be accurately configured.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Analyze collective bargaining agreements to implement , functional and technical requirements into Workforce, HR and Payroll systems to meet the company’s obligations Liaise with leadership in Labour Relations, Store Operations and other stakeholders to communicate changes regarding collective agreement and the impacts to the Payroll /HR/Work Force Management system(s) and processes.
- Responsible for sending in Functional and Technical intakes for WFM HR Payroll systems configuration as it relates to Collective Agreement and some Provincial/ Federal legislative changes to HRIS/WFM Systems (SAP, SuccessFactors, Kronos and Dayforce Systems)
- Validate and sign off on test results from HR Systems team to determine if the results adhere to the collective bargaining agreement.
- Accountable and responsible to ensure the retroactive payments and or lump sums based on CBA agreements are being executed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop process and functional documentation to ensure there is clear understanding of course of actions by all stakeholders once a CBA is ratified.
- Perform HR Data Audits to determine if employee data in the system is adhering to CBA and Provincial Federal Legislation.
- Provide support to stakeholders (Site Admin, Labour Relations, Payroll, Total Rewards, Franchise Affiliate) when a there is a changed ownership of a franchise location with a CBA.
What you have to offer:
- An Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma with significant involvement working with payroll systems.
- Familiarity with Payroll, HR Processes, Data and Reporting is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skillsStrong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of HRIS and/or Workforce Management Systems
- Knowledge of SAP/SuccessFactors/Kronos/Dayforce systems
- Bilingual in French and English (The candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada)
