Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer - CRM to lead the technical design, configuration, development, and integration of enterprise Siebel CRM applications. In this role, you will translate complex system specifications into reliable, fully tested software solutions, integrating Siebel platforms with modern front-end systems, digital content management tools, and J2EE backend architectures. Working closely with cross-functional technical teams, you will oversee Siebel Open UI customizations, data exchange interfaces (EIM/EAI), reporting engines, and workflow automations to maintain high system availability and performance.

Location: Toronto, ON (Fully Onsite – 5 days/week required)

Duration: 7-month contract.

Responsibilities
Siebel Architecture & Core Development: Lead hands-on technical configuration, design, and customization of Siebel CRM applications using Siebel Tools, Open UI, and core business layer objects.

System Integration & Middleware: Design and implement robust integrations connecting Siebel with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), J2EE services, and external web application environments.

Enterprise Data & Workflow Engineering: Configure Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) components, Workflows, Assignment Manager rules, and business services.

Open UI Customization: Develop custom presentation models (PM) and physical models (PR) using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and manifest mapping configurations.

Reporting & Analytics: Build and support enterprise reports and business intelligence dashboards using OBIEE and Power BI platforms.

Defect Resolution & Maintenance: Troubleshoot, resolve, and debug complex technical issues arising across development, testing, and production environments.

Documentation & Testing: Author detailed programming specifications, conduct comprehensive unit testing, and lead technical design walkthroughs.



Qualifications
Siebel Development Seniority: 10+ years of hands-on experience with Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and system integration (Strictly Required).

Core Application Integration: 5+ years of experience integrating Siebel with external technologies, specifically Adobe AEM and J2EE systems (Strictly Required).

EIM/EAI Data Integration: 5+ years of hands-on experience using Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) (Strictly Required).

Siebel IP18+ Experience: 3+ years of experience configuring and developing within Siebel IP18+ environments (Strictly Required).

Core Siebel Objects: Proven expertise with Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflows, Applets, Views, Screens, and Siebel Business Layer objects (Strictly Required).

Reporting & Front-End Web Tech: Hands-on experience developing reports in Power BI or OBIEE alongside front-end skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Nice-to-Have Assets:
Certified Siebel professional (Siebel 8.x or above).

Experience with Siebel Public Sector CRM modules or Grants Management.
