Job Description
Our client is seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join their growing team in a full-time permanent role. Based just outside of Halifax inBeechville this versatile opportunity has arisen due to company expansion and is ideal for a flexible and dedicated professional.
As the successful candidate your primary focus will be working closely alongside the Controller to assess and determine inventory as well as processing purchase orders and purchase requests.
Key Responsibilities for the Job :
- Coordinate purchasing including processing purchase orders
- Manage vendor relationships
- Analyze inventory levels trends and reporting to support operational decisions
- Support accounts payable and related financial processes
- Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations
- Provide additional support as required to ensure smooth operations
