We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect to play a pivotal role in a transformation project within the Canadian Federal Government. This critical initiative involves a high-priority migration of a cloud-based platform, ensuring all cybersecurity and privacy requirements are met for critical services.

Responsibilities
As a Level 3 Technology Architect, you will lead the technical strategy and execution of the cloud migration, including :
Requirement Gathering : Documenting business and technical requirements through stakeholder engagement with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.
Migration Strategy : Performing research and analysis to determine migration paths and identifying potential technical issues and mitigation approaches.
Planning & Execution : Developing a comprehensive migration plan and executing the move from the CDS-managed Azure tenant to the SSC-managed Azure tenant.
Documentation : Creating and updating architecture, design, configuration, and operational support documentation.
Knowledge Transfer : Ensuring the internal operations team is fully prepared to manage the platform post-migration.
Integration : Ensuring the integration of all technology solution aspects while adhering to government and industry directions.
Qualifications
Reliability clearance.
Accreditation from an internationally recognized organization.
Post-secondary education relating to Information Management.
10+ years of proven experience as a Technical Architect on large-scale IT projects.
Experience in the public sector.
