Job description
Are you a skilled CNC Operator looking for a stable role in the manufacturing and logistics sector? Our client in St. Thomas, Ontario is seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to join their production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precision machining of metal components, ensuring every part meets high-quality standards. As a CNC Operator, you will work a reliable day shift, contributing to an efficient manufacturing environment where safety is the top priority.

Regarding bilingualism requirements: This position is located in St. Thomas and requires English only. All technical manuals, safety instructions, and team communications are in English to ensure workplace safety and operational clarity.

Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC machines to cut, drill, or mill metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for every job.
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation at all times.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Document production numbers and any equipment issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.

Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator.
• Proven experience in blueprint reading.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand industrial blueprints.
• Experience with precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Reliable work ethic and ability to work a day shift.
• Basic computer skills for machine operation.
