This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a deep understanding of how design translates to the shop floor.

As a Mechanical Designer/Drafter, you will be a key player in the technical design team, bridging the gap between conceptual engineering and final production. - Competitive compensation
- Opportunity to work with a dynamic team

Design & Modeling: Create detailed 3D models and 2D production drawings of mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and specifications for manufacturing machinery.

Production Collaboration: Work directly with engineers and shop floor personnel to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet project-specific quality standards.

Iterative Design: Revise and update existing drawings based on testing results, client feedback, or evolving project requirements.

Technical Calculations: Perform precise calculations for dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements to optimize production efficiency.

Compliance: Ensure all design outputs adhere to industry safety standards and company regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Education: College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related technical field.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in SolidWorks and AutoCAD are essential.

Manufacturing Knowledge: Solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, and general assembly processes.

Analytical Thinking: Strong mathematical skills and the ability to troubleshoot design-related issues during the manufacturing phase.
