What you must have:
-
Bachelor’s Degree and any post graduate education in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Registered as a professional engineer (P.Eng.) with a Canadian engineering regulatory body or another applicable organization with reciprocity agreements.
-
Minimum of 10 + plus years consulting engineering experience in Mass Timber, Concrete, Steel, Masonry and Wood design in Institutional, Residential, Industrial and/or Commercial construction projects.

Knowledge of architectural, mechanical, electrical and building science systems, Canadian building codes, standards and construction techniques.
-
Experience with coordination of other building design disciplines including Geotechnical, Architectural, Building Science, Mechanical and Electrical teams.

Strong ability to guide and mentor a team upwards of 5-7 junior and intermediate team members empowering them with decision making, independence and critical thinking.

Assets:

Experience and/or exposure to structural design of water/wastewater and other civil infrastructure projects.
Salary/Rate Range: $135,000.00 - $145,000.00
