Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced EMC Engineer to support aircraft-level electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) activities, ensuring compliance with certification requirements and protection against electromagnetic threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform EMC analysis including EMI, HIRF, lightning, and ESD
  • Assess compliance with airworthiness and certification requirements
  • Review and validate electromagnetic qualification documentation
  • Evaluate aircraft-level system interference and integration
  • Support design reviews and provide technical recommendations
  • Analyze modifications and non-conformances for regulatory compliance
  • Contribute to continued airworthiness and risk mitigation activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5+ years of EMC experience in aerospace
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems and integration

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC, signal integrity, antennas, propagation
  • Familiarity with DO-160, SAE ARPs, FAA / TCCA / EASA regulations
  • Experience with certification requirements (e.g., Part 25 / CAR 525)
  • Experience with EMC analysis tools (e.g., EMA3D) is an asset

Location: Mississauga, ON

Term: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule: 40 hours per week
