Job description

Arise Talent Hub, on behalf of our valued client, is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join a reputable cabinetry and millwork manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically proficient individual to contribute to the precision production of custom cabinetry components using cutting-edge CNC technology.

Position Overview

The CNC Programmer/Operator will be responsible for programming and operating a Biesse Skill 1536GT CNC machine using BiesseWorks, ensuring accurate production of wood components. This role requires expertise in CAD/CAM software, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of cabinetmaking processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program and operate the Biesse Skill 1536GT CNC machine using BiesseWorks software

  • Load, unload, and manage CNC machine operations with minimal supervision

  • Organize and prepare accurately cut components for carpentry and assembly

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and specifications

  • Maintain detailed production records and ensure quality control

  • Collaborate with carpenters and production staff to meet timelines and standards

  • Conduct minor maintenance and troubleshooting of the CNC machine as needed

  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer/Operator (required)

  • Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, and AutoCAD (minimum 3 years each – required)

  • Prior experience in cabinetry or millwork production (minimum 3 years – required)

  • Strong knowledge of CNC operations and programming for wood-based fabrication

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under production deadlines

  • Keen attention to detail with a commitment to precision and quality

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
