Work Environment
This role is based in a custom shop environment located approximately 25 minutes south of Calgary. The facility has recently expanded, adding a new extension to house a plasma cutter and other new machinery, creating a modern and well-equipped workspace. The shop operates with a strong hands-on, fabrication-focused atmosphere, where collaboration between CNC operators, welders, fabricators, and engineers is part of daily work. The initial shift runs from 7:00 . to 3:30 ., and after about one month the position transitions to an afternoon shift from 3:30 . to 2:00 ., Monday through Thursday. A few cats roam the front office and lunch area, so the environment is best suited for individuals who are comfortable working around animals. Attire is typical for a fabrication shop, emphasizing safety and practicality while working around CNC equipment and metal fabrication processes.
