About The Position

The role of the Warehouse Worker is a hands-on production position. The Warehouse Worker reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

• Picking orders for packing
• Packing orders for shipping
• An opportunity for some shipping/receiving
• Product processing
• Inventory control and quality assurance
• Adhere to all company guidelines, procedures, and policies.
• Carry out any additional tasks as requested by the Operations Manager
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

• One (1) or more years of current warehouse-related work experience (preference given to those with floral industry experience)
• One (1) or more years of forklift experience preferred
• Experience using an ERP System preferred, or experienced in working with an Operating System
• Must be proficient in the English language and able to communicate fluently verbally and written
• Must have previous experience working within a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Must be flexible to work variant hours (maximum 8 hours per day) and must be available to work longer hours during peak seasons, weekend availability required, some extended hours will be required around Floral Holidays
• Demonstrate positive work ethics
• Strong organization & time management skills

Working Conditions

• High energy, fast-paced warehouse environment with various temperature zones in the warehouse
• Cooler: 3-4˚C, Warehouse/Packing room: 10˚C to 18˚C
• Willing and able to work in all temperature conditions depending on production demand
• Standing/walking most of the shift
• Lifting boxes up to 50lbs (average 20-35 lbs.)
• Moving floral carts (both empty and full)
• Due to the nature of the floral industry, longer hours may be required around holidays
