Job description
Are you a results-driven Millwright looking for a stable, day-shift role where your technical expertise directly impacts production success? We are representing a global leader in electrical and infrastructure solutions—a company built on safety and innovation.

We are seeking a Maintenance Millwright to join their North York facility. This is a role for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a lean manufacturing environment and takes pride in keeping complex machinery running at peak performance.

Shift - Day Shift
Location - North York, ON

Work-Life Balance: Monday–Friday day shift schedule (with occasional Saturdays as required).

Global Stability: Work for a division of a world-renowned organization with a massive global footprint.

Growth Culture: A workplace that values "Life Saving Rules" and professional development through continuous learning.

Collaborative Environment: A culture of respect, diversity, and collective success.

Responsibilities
System Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, compressors, pumps, and specialized machinery including roll forming machines, punch presses, shears, and welding equipment.

Root Cause Analysis: Conduct detailed inspections and damage assessments to identify why equipment failed and implement long-term solutions.

Electrical & Mechanical Support: Execute mechanical repairs and basic electrical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Safety Leadership: Strictly uphold Life Saving Rules, including LOTO, machine guarding, and PIT safety protocols to ensure a zero-harm environment.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and assist in training Maintenance Mechanic trainees to elevate team performance.

Qualifications
Certification: Valid Millwright (433A) License or documented proof of being an active apprentice nearing completion.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing plant. Experience specifically with roll forming and fabrication is a significant asset.

Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude paired with electrical problem-solving capabilities.

Communication: Fluent in English (written and oral) with the ability to document repairs and communicate effectively across departments.

Physicality: Ability to remain mobile and on your feet for the duration of the shift in a fast-paced environment.

Attributes: A self-motivated "individual contributor" who also excels in a team setting; someone who is eager to learn and meet tight deadlines.
