Job description

Apprentice Machinist

DynaIndustrial is a Saskatchewan-based engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the custom design, manufacturing, repair, and rebuild of heavy industrial equipment. We proudly serve customers in the mining, steel, pipe mill, and offshore oil industries across North America.

We are currently seeking an Apprentice Machinist to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the machining trade. At DynaIndustrial, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced machinists on a wide variety of custom projects, repairs, and manufactured components. Unlike production machining environments, our work is diverse, challenging, and provides continuous opportunities to learn and develop your skills.

If you're motivated, mechanically inclined, and eager to build a successful career in machining, we'd like to hear from you.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an individual who:

  • Has 1–3 years of machining or manufacturing experience.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Is eager to learn and develop their machining skills.
  • Takes pride in producing quality work.
  • Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Enjoys solving problems and working with their hands.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the setup and operation of manual and CNC machine tools.
  • Learn to manufacture and repair industrial components to precise specifications.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and machining instructions.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality requirements.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and shop organization.
  • Work alongside experienced machinists and tradespeople on custom industrial projects.
  • Develop knowledge of machining practices, tooling, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Why Join DynaIndustrial?

  • Competitive wages
  • Full-featured benefits package
  • Matching RRSP contribution program
  • Annual work boot allowance
  • Overtime opportunities and bonus programs
  • Apprenticeship support and mentorship
  • Work-life balance focused culture
  • Team-oriented environment
  • Modern, progressive manufacturing facility
  • Opportunities for advancement and long-term career growth
  • Stable Saskatchewan-owned company with over 50 years of success

At DynaIndustrial, we invest in our people. You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople, develop valuable skills, and build a rewarding career in a company that values quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

If you're ready to start or continue your machining career with a company that offers challenging work and opportunities for growth, we'd like to hear from you.
