Maintenance Mechanic – Manufacturing (Ajax, ON)
$43–$48/hr | 12-hr continental | Benefits + RRSP Match
Are you a skilled Maintenance Mechanic looking to work in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment? Our Ajax-based client is hiring motivated mechanics to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plant machinery, ensuring smooth operations every day.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery, including lathes, welders, milling machines, drill presses, cutting tools, and more
- Fabricate or repair parts as needed to keep production running
- Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively
- Assist with installing or relocating large plant equipment
- Support food safety and quality processes as required
Who We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years industrial or manufacturing experience
- Fully Licensed or Registered Apprentice (3rd & 4th year) in: Millwright, Mechanic, or Tool & Die
- Skilled with industrial tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Safety-focused and committed to following procedures 100% of the time
- Forklift license is an asset
