Thriftys Family of Brands is currently looking for a for our Head Office location. This position will report to the Construction Manager.
With a sense of ownership, drive a variety of store maintenance initiatives.
- Issues & follows up on work orders for all required store repairs
- Coordinate all ongoing & day to day maintenance & preventative maintenance
- Support in store openings, relocations & closings
- Data entry & logging for all finances for maintenance
- Liason communication between vendor / contractors & store operations
Responsibilities :
Responsible for issuing and following up to ensure all repair requests are up to date, completed and files are closed off.
Help problem solve with unique issues as they arrise.
- Receiving and processing vendor invoices & purchase orders, administrative tasks
- Assists in setting up store opening, relocations & closings tasks as they relate to maintenance
- Issues store maintenance orders requests from stores (for example, lightbulb orders, etc).
- Assists in the preparation & management of contracts for preventative maintenance (HVAC, weather mats, window cleaning, etc)
- Assist in coordinating transport as needed
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Available to travel to stores if needed.
Qualification :
- Experience in an admin role is an asset.
- Computer literacy required; full use of microsoft office.
- Enthusiastic, positive, motivated, innovative, flexible, and creative team player with high standards and a strong work ethic.
- Organized, project oriented with an attention to detail and a commitment to deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal commuincation (billingual in French an asset)
- Experience with estimating, budgeting, and costing an asset.
- Ability to travel is required
- Some physical labour is required (lifting, working pump truck, stacking skids of hardware, etc)
