ROLE SUMMARY:
The Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for managing the National Commercial P&L; including but not limited to tracking, performance analysis and forecasting. The Commercial Finance Manager will work collaboratively with numerous stakeholders to understand their forecasting inputs and keep them accountable to their performance expectations. This role will be critical in managing the National P&L rollup to align with the company’s overall business objectives & driving the financial health of our organization through in-depth analysis and strategic insights.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to assess performance and identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide weekly tracking and monthly performance analysis, providing insights to senior management on performance drivers to inform changes in upcoming expectations.
- Owner of the monthly forecast process for National Commercial Finance team
- Oversee the total National Commercial P&L, including coordination with relevant departments and collaboration with key stakeholders across both the Commercial and Finance functions
- Ensure commercial finance practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop key pillars of the company’s commercial finance strategy through long-term planning projects (1 to 10 Year Plans), with the ability to support in the implementation of such strategies through day-to-day implementation across tactical activities
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Advanced knowledge and technical skills related to Microsoft Excel. SAP and TM1 proficiency also preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
