Who We Are Looking For

An Account Director who is a true team and client leader with strong content marketing strategy experience. The right candidate will leverage their expertise in content marketing and build strategic plans with forward-thinking solutions that achieve our clients’ objectives.

They will have a solid business acumen, and act as the key client relationship manager with an insatiable curiosity about the clients’ industries, business, products, and growth opportunities.

They will know how to anticipate client needs and lead an efficient team to deliver work with clear business impact, and a positive client experience with strategic value.

Who You Are

Great Content Marketer. You have a deep understanding of the marketing funnel, and the role content plays at each stage.

You bring original and untold stories to life that attract, engage, and retain audiences.

  • Solutions-Oriented Strategist. You develop and ensure the effective implementation of forward-thinking strategic plans and delivery of compelling work.
  • Client Counselor. You pull the strings to balance the expectations of the client with the execution of work, acting as a true trusted partner and strategist
  • Collaborative Builder. You have an innate ability to lead people and build a cohesive team that enhances the value of our agency for the client.
  • Growth Driver. You are proactive, energetic, and driven to create new opportunities for our clients and our business.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the owner of client workstreams, projects and content programs; build trust with client contacts and internal teams and contextualize information to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Lead client meetings, interface with executive and middle management level on client side during meetings and presentations
  • Become a subject matter expert in the client’s field, speaking clearly to the competitive landscape, products, services, trends, and brand positions within the client’s business.
  • Proactively provide clients with strategic insight by staying abreast of industry trends, audience needs and project outputs.
  • Present creative concepts to client and lead end-to-end quality control and flawless execution of creative and editorial production.
  • Play an active role in the business development function; identify and maximize opportunities for organic growth within existing clients.
  • Lead various Digital Marketing service offerings and programs for the client, and be the performance driver of these program.
  • Keep a pulse on industry trends and emerging channels that could be built into our offerings for a more full funnel approach.
  • Evaluate programs and campaigns and maximize ROI to meet client objectives.
  • Build a cohesive team across agency partners, departments, disciplines, and offices where relevant. Mentor and grow direct reports to be stronger strategically and tactically.
  • Guide the team toward the achievement of client objectives; think through facts, diagnose a situation, and find an accurate and workable solution to help a client’s business and team prosper.
  • Assess and recommend strategies for building efficiencies, streamlining operations, and enhancing the overall client and content experience.

What You’ll Bring

  • 8-10 years of strategic planning and account management experience; agency setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of content strategy and digital marketing implementing it across a variety of platforms and channels
  • Proven track record of developing solid client relationships and ability to approach business with confidence and awareness
  • Demonstrated ability to mine insights that form the basis of creative strategies and content programs
  • The ability to act quickly on your feet and an eagerness to think outside the box
  • Strong growth mindset with a capacity for delivering above and beyond the client’s expectations and initial asks
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to sell concepts and strategy to current and prospective clients
  • Exceptionally personable and positive with strong communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor and nurture your team
  • Relentlessly curious with a positive, upbeat attitude!
