Job description

Chief Operating Officer —Goods Production, Utilities, Transportation, and Construction. Nuages Consulting. Location : Toronto, ON. Salary : 190,000 to 201,000 annually (to be negotiated) / 40 hours per week. Full time. Flexible Hours. Starts as soon as possible.

Benefits : Health benefits, financial benefits, long-term benefits, other benefits. Languages : Bilingual. Education : Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB, JD, BCL). Experience : 5 years or more. Work must be completed both in person and remotely. Willing to relocate. Budgetary responsibility : $500,001-$1,500,000.

Responsibilities :

  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.

Supervision : More than 20 people.

Credentials :

Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses. Controlled goods are designated official.

Experience and Specialization :

Computer and technology knowledge : MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word. Information technology. Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.

Type of Industry Experience :

Energy. Specialization or experience in the green economy sector. Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.

Additional Information :

Security and Safety : Eligible for professional liability insurance, criminal record check.

Transportation / Travel Information : Valid driver's license, own vehicle, willing to travel internationally.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities : Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, large workload.
