As a Cleaner , you will ensure the over-all cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level.
Location : Nanaimo, BC and Surrounding Areas
Shift : 4 Nights per Week, 7 : 00 PM 2 : 00 AM
Availability : Open availability required, including weekends and holidays
Your work will include :
- Maintain floors, washrooms, waste bins, and common areas across the facility
- Operate cleaning machines such as auto scrubbers, swing machines, and burnishers efficiently
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, waiting areas, and entrances following company protocols
- Restock essential supplies (toilet paper, hand towels, soap) regularly
- Dust all surfaces within reach, including countertops, pillars, window ledges, and vents
- Spot-clean lobby floors and complete thorough cleaning as needed
- Vacuum entrance mats and ensure that high-traffic areas remain tidy
Qualifications
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal record check (proof required prior to hiring)
- Floor care experience (scrubbing, buffing, polishing) is an asset
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machines confidently
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs
- Must reside in Nanaimo or the surrounding area
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
