Job description

Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP is Canada's largest and most important integrated computer asset disposal and recycling processor. Title: ITAD Production Associate (General Labour)

Location: Brampton, ON - L6T 5G5 – On-Site

Shift time: 3:00pm – 11:30pm, Monday - Friday

Position Status: Permanent, Full-time

Position Summary

We are looking for an ITAD Production Associate to join our Brampton team. This role supports warehouse operations through sorting commodities, categorizing assets, packing, moving, and dismantling IT equipment, while following health and safety standards. You will assist technicians, support smooth workflow, and grow your understanding of the sortation and production process. Responsibilities also include product serialization and accurate data entry into our ERP system, with occasional support for driver pick-ups and unloading. We’re seeking someone comfortable with technology who is eager to learn. Training is provided, and the ideal candidate can quickly adapt to new systems and is interested in developing skills in data sanitization and basic computer troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling

  • Identifies and sorts different electronic materials in assigned boxes while strictly adhering to classification of commodities into different grades to maximize production output
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Assist drivers with customer pick-ups and truck unloading as needed.
  • Identifies and sort different assets to material categories and perform a unit count on the separated assets by category
  • Capturing make, model, and serial number of equipment
  • Removal of asset tag labels from equipment
  • Safely remove batteries from electronic devices.
  • Any other standard duties assigned to a Production Associate

Security and Compliance

  • Maintain confidentiality of all Customer, Supplier, and Company information
  • Ensure to work with / use security measures, procedures, and devices as required
  • Participate in training as required and apply knowledge gained through training on the job

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably within an electronic recycling facility
  • Basic technical knowledge of computers, laptops, and cellphones.
  • Forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally.

Job Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, can demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Job specific training in identification and classification of materials

Working Conditions

  • Warehouse Setting.
