Huawei Canada has an immediate Co-op opening for an Engineer.
About the team :
The Data Center Network Lab focuses on advancing next-generation data center networks and transport technologies. Working together with industry experts, the lab addresses complex networking challenges and integrates innovative research into various product lines. The team specializes in network protocol and architecture design for computing, cloud and storage interconnections, aiming to establish a leading network system. This lab fosters personal and professional growth, encouraging learning and team development in the digital intelligence era.
About the job :
Work closely with senior team members on one or more projects on data center network research.
Will be working on technologies like RDMA, Data Center Networking, Congestion Control, Load Balance, etc.
Assist in designing and validating innovative network protocols and algorithms for AI / ML applications.
Job requirements
About the ideal candidate :
Bachelors / Masters student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields.
Excellent academic standing and demonstrated understanding of computer science fundamentals.
Familiar with protocols such as RDMA, TCP / IP, PCIe, etc.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Assist in designing and validating innovative network protocols and algorithms for AI / ML applications.
Develop scripts (Python, C / C++) to automate and test new ideas / solutions.
