HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER- ATTENDANCE ABILITIES & INTEGRATED WELLNESS
LOCATION : Board Administration Office 1270 Pembroke Street West Pembroke
HOURS OF WORK : 35 hours per week (100% full-time) 12 months per year
SALARY GRID : Salary will be commensurate with education and experience within the current pay band of $83629 to $96333.

Under the direction of the Manager of Human Resources the Human Resources Officer- Attendance Abilities & Integrated Wellness supports the implementation and administration of the Districts Abilities Management Program Attendance Support Program and Wellness Program.
SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
- Minimum 3-year post-secondary degree / diploma in Human Resources Management Business or relevant field or equivalent.
- In receipt of or working towards a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. Obtaining and maintaining designation is a condition of employment.
- Experience in working in a multi-unionized environment preferably in the education or public sector is considered an asset.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related Human Resources experience.
- Experience in disability case management attendance management and wellness
- Excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills including the ability to explain complex issues with precision and clarity.
- Strong analytical thinking and demonstrated ability in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Exceptional planning organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and process files efficiently and within required timelines.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Excellent knowledge of applicable legislation (WSIA OHRC ESA).
- Valid Ontario Drivers License and use of a reliable personal vehicle is required.
