Our client, is seeking an experienced, highly strategic Product Manager (E-Commerce Catalog & Platform Operations) to join their digital commerce product team.

In this high-impact consulting role, you will take ownership of the regional catalog drop process across major international markets (including North America and APAC). Acting as a strategic product leader, you will apply high-level systems thinking to manage weekly product catalog drops using existing commerce platforms, while architecting the long-term roadmap to transition manual business workflows into fully automated, scalable platform capabilities over the next 12–18 months. Working in a flexible remote capacity, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional merchandising, engineering, and digital operations teams to ensure seamless commercial execution while shaping next-generation enterprise commerce systems.

Position Title: Product Manager – E-Commerce Catalog & Platform Operations

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Target rate approx. $120 CAD/hr, scalable based on experience)

Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Preference for candidates located within West Coast / Pacific time zones)

Advantages
Global Brand Footprint: Drive core digital commerce and product release operations for a top-tier global enterprise retail brand.

Strategic Modernization Scope: Play a pivotal role translating complex, manual operational processes into automated, scalable next-generation commerce capabilities.

Competitive Compensation: Earn a premier market rate (target $120 CAD/hr) on a 6-month consulting assignment.

100% Remote Flexibility: Enjoy location flexibility with preference given to West Coast-aligned schedules.

Responsibilities
Catalog Drop Management: Own, manage, and optimize the regional product catalog drop lifecycle across North American and APAC digital channels.

Systems Automation Roadmap: Apply end-to-end systems thinking to translate legacy manual workflows into automated, future-proofed digital commerce features.

Platform Transition Planning: Strategically plan, design, and drive execution for migrating catalog drop workflows to modern enterprise platform architectures over a 12–18 month horizon.

Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner closely with merchandising, digital operations, engineering, and UX teams to ensure flawless operational readiness and release cadences.

Backlog & Requirement Engineering: Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with software engineering teams.

Qualifications
Product Management Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience as a Product Manager leading e-commerce platforms, catalog management, or digital retail operations.

E-Commerce Platform Expertise: Strong hands-on familiarity with enterprise e-commerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), CommerceTools, or BigCommerce.

Systems Thinking & Automation: Demonstrated track record taking manual business processes and architecting automated platform capabilities.

Global Release Operations: Proven experience managing high-volume product launches, regional catalog drops, or multi-market merchandise releases.

Stakeholder Alignment: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to bridge business merchandising strategy with technical engineering execution.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical industry experience.

Summary
If you are a tech-savvy Senior Product Manager who pairs deep e-commerce platform expertise (SFCC, CommerceTools, BigCommerce) with catalog drop operations mastery and high-level systems thinking, this 6-month remote contract opportunity is an ideal next step. Bring your digital commerce precision, automation vision, and product leadership to our team today!
