Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily order processing, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely fulfillment.
  • Manage all aspects of North American logistics, including transportation and outbound fulfillment.
  • Partner with Inventory and Procurement teams to balance inventory across locations.
  • Streamline routing and carrier selection to minimize freight costs and improve delivery timelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers, 3PLs, and warehouse partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable logistics and safety regulations
  • Coordinate closely with customer service, production, and procurement teams to align inventory movement and order fulfillment with business needs.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight costs, inventory turns, and order accuracy.
  • Lead cross-functional process improvement projects and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for logistics and supply chain functions.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records for audit and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in a mid-sized or fast-paced company environment.
  • Strong understanding of North American freight operations and transportation regulations.
  • Experience managing daily order processing and coordinating between departments for fulfillment.
  • Proficiency with logistics platforms (e.g., TMS/WMS) and ERP systems (e.g., NAV, SAP, or similar).
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Effective communicator with strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cross-border logistics (U.S./Canada/Mexico).
  • Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement principles.
  • Knowledge of small parcel, LTL, and full truckload shipping environments.
