The Director of Real Estate Investments, will oversee the management and direction of a diverse portfolio of real estate investments.

This role involves leading a team to maximize property value and investment returns and oversee additions of real estate assets to Cresco's investment property portfolio.

The Director will also identify and pursue new development opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company's financial and strategic goals.

ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Management : Oversee the performance and management of a diverse portfolio of real estate investments.

Develop and implement strategies to maximize asset value and investment returns.Conduct regular portfolio reviews and adjust strategies as necessary to meet financial targets.

Development Opportunities : Collaborate with team members to identify, evaluate, and recommend new real estate development opportunities.

Review market research, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for potential investments.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure and develop new projects.

Participate as a sponsor representative to investment property construction projects.Financial Oversight : Support the development and management of annual operations and / or project budgets for the investment properties portfolio.

Review financial performance, including income, expenses, and capital expenditures.Collaborate to prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, builders, partners, and other stakeholders.

Collaborate on and support the negotiation and management of contracts, leases, and other agreements related to the investment properties.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies.Strategic Planning : Contribute to the overall strategic planning process for the real estate portfolio.

Align portfolio strategies with the company's long-term objectives and market trends.Identify and mitigate potential risks to the portfolio and individual assets.

Team Leadership : Manage and mentor team members.Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.

Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related fieldFamiliarity with real estate laws, regulations, and market trends.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate investment and related fields.Familiar with the design and construction of buildings.

Proven track record of managing diverse real estate investment portfolios.Professional designations such as MBA, P.Eng, PMP, and / or CPM.

Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent analytical, financial, reporting and presenting, and strategic planning abilities.

Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to identify and capitalize on development opportunities.
