JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shared ownership with VP On-Premise over total On-Premise channel strategy, investment & brand activation & programming
- Strategic Account Management for a portfolio of our largest On-Premise customers
- Build, maintain, and own On-Premise Key Accounts’ Head Office relationships with Labatt
- Leverage internal stakeholders and customer needs to build On-Premise specific brand campaigns
- Support Customer Marketing Team in developing customized programs, strategies, and tactical marketing / sales initiatives
- Lead a team of 3 Key Account Managers developing & executing annual customer business plans utilizing brand campaigns and sales tactics to create win-win partnerships
- Development, execution, and evaluation of customized Key Account programs to optimize ROI for Labatt & for the customer
- Drive profitability improvement for Key Account customers and enable regional sales team through training, communication & best practice sharing to improve overall On-Premise profitability
- Responsible for collaborating with our field sales team on street level executions within customer set & on overall On-Premise channel priorities
- Build internal and external communication plans
- Develop new business within existing & new customers
- Build skills of current direct report team and support pipeline development of new talent for Labatt
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Mandatory University Degree in Business or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Field Sales experience, preferably complemented with 2 years Sales Back-Office experience (P&L management, ROI evaluation, gap analysis)
- Excellent relationship building & negotiation skills
- Flexibility to travel and spend nights / weekends hosting customer events
- Ability to interact professionally with customers at a senior level (CEO, President & VP)
- High level of story building & presentation skills to champion Key Account pitches
- Strong budget management experience
- Project management and organization skills to manage a number priorities across multiple customers & stakeholders
- Ability to listen, understand a customers’ needs & develop creative solutions that also drives Labatt priorities
- Experience building and executing routines to engage national scope teams with regional ones
- Expert in all Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel & Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of Liquor regulations across Canada
- Knowledge of Beer Distribution networks across Canada
- Minimum 3 years experience leading a team with a track record of developing new talent
