About Advanced Performance Analysis at Entuitive
As we strive for a more sustainable world, energy modeling has emerged as a key driver, guiding the development of innovative solutions and policies that pave the way towards a greener and more resilient world.
Our Advanced Performance Analysis team applies a systematic approach to understanding, analyzing, and optimizing energy consumption and building emissions.
We use our skills to provide practical decision making tools for our clients, supporting developers, architects, engineers, owners, and policy makers to predict and assess the impact of design choices, building materials, and operational strategies on building performance.
Our Sustainability + Performance team is a skilled and friendly group of colleagues across our firm, committed to helping design some of North America’s highest performing buildings and infrastructure.
We’re proud to say Entuitive was engaged on 22 of Canada’s Top 100 Projects in the last year, including five of the top ten.
Our team works in a variety of software and platforms including IES VE, RETScreen, Flixo, PHPP, Helioscope, and more.

- Learn from and contribute to a thriving team of senior Sustainability + Building Performance team members to grow your abilities in the building performance space, including energy performance, emissions reductions, reducing embodied carbon, improving climate resilience and adaptation, project management, and client relations
- Develop performance simulations to guide the design of high-performance buildings, deep energy retrofits, and existing building energy audits.
This will include not only traditional energy modelling but also daylight and glare analyses, thermal comfort evaluations and passive design studies
- Maintain the highest standards of technical excellence in the delivery of simulation services
- Develop internal scripts, tools, and workflows to enhance the quality and efficiency of delivering building simulations
- Produce enticing graphical representations of complex simulation data to enhance client facing deliverables
- Prepare energy modelling reports to fulfil the requirements of building code, incentive programs and third-party certifications such as LEED and the Zero Carbon Building Standard
- Research trends and technologies associated with the design and operation of high-performance buildings to keep us at the cutting edge of project delivery
- Work with clients to confirm their performance needs and expectations throughout the design process
- Draft technical papers and prepare presentations to aid in the growth of a stronger and broader client base.
