Senior Analyst / Associate | Critical Minerals & Energy

Opportunity to join the Canadian Critical Minerals & Energy (“CME”) team in Toronto, part of the global CME team with over 40 partners across Australia, Asia, South Africa, and Europe. The Toronto team comprises six members focused on the North American mining and metals sector, advising on assignments across precious metals, base metals, battery metals, and bulk commodities.

What role will you play?

You will leverage Macquarie's global capabilities to apply your investment banking knowledge, assisting clients in meeting their financial and strategic objectives. You will participate in executing advisory transactions and pursuing new business opportunities. The role requires strong attention to detail, an exceptional work ethic, and excellent time, process management, and communication skills.

What you offer

• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, preferably in metals & mining
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial modelling
• Understanding of financial statements, accounting, and finance
• Ability to work effectively within a team
