Description :
The design researcher will be supporting product owners and members of the design team to ensure that our product strategy and feature designs align with user goals and needs. The research will inform the design and implementation of new features and initiatives across the different pillars within Avion Rewards such as : ShopPlus – our shopping extension, Search & Discovery, Shopping, Travel, Redemption and Acquisition.
The main responsibilities of the role include :
- Proactively identifying opportunities for research to inform product strategy and design decisions, and create alignment around those opportunities and results
- Working closely with product, design, and marketing in conducting generative and evaluative research
- Representing the voice and needs of our users through engaging with them on our platforms / channels such as Alida, Maze, and our internal UAP program
- Designing and facilitating internal workshops to gather information about new work or areas of focus
- Managing multiple research activities by effectively prioritizing and communicating those priorities and their implications with peers and partners
- Mentoring product designers in the research craft to democratize and enable research in the different pillars
