We have an opening for a Group Relationship Specialist (Home and Auto) to join our Insurance for Groups Team in the Ontario Region on a 12 Month Contract Basis !

Individuals in this position will focus on growing our insurance for group portfolio within BrokerLink. This will include existing group clients, as well as prospecting / net new.

They will focus on client relationships, building awareness within BrokerLink nationally and insurer relationships.

What you will be doing :

  • Working with National Sales Manager, Group Insurance, responsible for the development, implementation and execution of Group account relationship strategies, including marketing plans and budgets.
  • Nurture Group client relationships to ensure they are solid. Provides support to key group stakeholder contacts as warranted, ensures internal stakeholders are engaged and deliverables are met, and acts as a secondary resource to the TM’s, BM’s and front-line advisors.
  • Works in conjunction with the National Sales Manager, Group Insurance and Director, employees to execute Group objectives including the identification of new groups.
  • Build communication strategy to increase awareness of group within BrokerLink through things such as branch visits, NCT meetings, and huddles.

Effectively communicate and collaborate with the internal team to maximize sales, customer satisfaction and meet / exceed assigned objectives & targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationship with our insurance company partners and develop effective communication channels.
  • Analyze business opportunities for groups; make recommendations to assist branch offices in the development of their specific business plan.

What you bring to the table :

  • Minimum Education Level : Post secondary
  • Job-specific certifications : RIBO License
  • Minimum Years of Experience : 1-3 years
  • Management years of experience : Helpful but not necessary
  • Technical Knowledge : understanding of PI / CI / Group benefits
  • Business development / relationship management / marketing plans / budgeting
