Role Description
The Business Development Executive position is responsible for growing the company’s revenue through the execution of outreach, opportunities search, leading the proposal development process, proactive network / lead creation, and market / target research.
The role must be self-motivated in being able to provide critical analysis of their KPI, follow up with leads and contacts generated, and be able to qualify opportunities and potential new clients.

Key Responsibilities :
- Qualify leads, conduct client prospecting, and provide competitive analysis.
- Set up meetings and gather information for go / no-go decision-making.
- Research and evaluate new market opportunities, develop new pipeline possibilities, and analyze competition.
- Develop effective marketing strategies, value propositions, and communication strategies.
- Lead proposals process, including searching and qualifying RFP / RFQ opportunities, completing submission requirements, and following up on submission results.
- Maintain and update the CRM system accurately and efficiently.
- Develop presentations, conduct client research, and manage general transport / booking requirements.
- Track and report KPI progress on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis.
- Plan, support, and attend trade shows and conferences for business development.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of marketing materials, including brand positioning, capabilities presentations, website, and social channels.
Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years' of sales, business development or account management experience.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the construction industry. GC experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of construction market dynamics, trends, and competition.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, designers, and construction management firms.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop and implement business development strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for trade shows, conferences, and client meetings.
